The HFMA London branch look forward to welcoming you back to our face to face HFMA London Branch annual conference for 2022. This year our conference is kindly sponsored by BDO.

Awards
The HFMA London Branch will be hosting awards at this years conference to recognise the work and achievements of finance teams and individuals from across the region.

Finance Team of the Year award
This award recognises the contribution that the finance team has made in the last twelve months to promoting and improving teamwork, innovation, collaboration, transformation and governance.

Winner: Career Development Group at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust

Diversity and Inclusion award
This award is made to a team, organisation or organisations working together in partnership that have introduced a change (big or small) that has positively contributed to the diversity and inclusion within their finance departments. The aim of the awardis to promote a strong, effective and embedded approach to diversity and inclusion.

Winner: Joanna Thomas at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Training and Development award
This award recognises a significant contribution made towards finance skills development. It recognises best practice in the training and development of finance staff or the raising of financial awareness and skills within the wider non-financial workforce. 

Winner: St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Innovation and Digital Technology award

This award seeks to reward organisations or teams that have undertaken an innovative project which has led to better outcomes while maintaining or reducing costs. 

Winner: Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust - Peter Carter (finance) and Champa Mohandas (Chief Pharmacy Officer)

Chair’s special award 
This award recognises a person or team who have contributed something special towards the region.

Winner: Sotiris Kyriacou, Head of London Skills Development Network
