About the conference

There are major changes to the HFMA Conference for 2021.  We have joined forces with SDN (Skills Development Network) and FFF (Future Focused Finance) to develop a two-day programme of events for the first time.  Covid-19 of course means that we have had to move the event on line, so whilst we look forward to a face to face conference next time, we are using the world class Hopin on-line meeting facility to ensure that you get the very best out of your conference experience.

This year’s schedule is the best we have ever managed to pull together.  From top headliners, motivational speakers, and patients stories, to sessions to cover current developments in the NHS, supported by workshops that you can elect to attend on the day and market stalls that you drop into to chat with subject matter experts and share ideas, this is your one stop shop for personal development alongside an opportunity to network with colleagues from across the Region.  For those attendees who are qualified, this event alone will go a long way towards delivering your CPD requirements.  The Conference also marks the inaugural HFMA branch awards presentation; a chance to celebrate the greatest achievements in what has undoubtedly been a very ‘different’ year.  And finally, if you are able to join for the whole event, it’s a two day break away from the office; a moment for reflection and to address your own well-being, in a supportive environment.

What’s more; this year it is FREE to all NHS staff.

The HFMA Eastern Conference has always been open to staff working in NHS Finance, those working in the supporting supply chain and associated organisations, and to non-finance colleagues in the NHS.  The partnership with SDN and FFF re-enforces that this is a conference designed for all, at any level, with an interest in NHS finance.  By going on-line it offers the opportunity to dip in to experience the best that NHS Finance is capable of delivering.
