Event / Delivering value with digital technologies 2022
About this event
This conference was jointly hosted with the Royal College of Physicians and the Federation for Informatics Professionals. Together, we brought together clinicians, finance staff and informatics professionals to consider how digital technologies such as digital medicine, genomics, artificial intelligence and robotics can transform services and drive value and efficiency.
These technologies can empower patients to participate actively in their care, with a greater focus on wellbeing and prevention. They also support the prediction of individual disease risk and personalise the management of long-term conditions.
Delegates heard from those who have made progress in rolling out these technologies, with real life examples. They had the opportunity to discuss how these technologies can help the NHS address some of its key challenges, and left with a greater understanding of the innovations taking place in the world of digital technologies and how it applies to their role and health system.
