Event / CCG closedown and the establishment of integrated care boards (ICBs)

The closedown of CCGs and the creation of ICBs in April 2022 will require NHS finance staff to undertake a significant number of tasks to enable a smooth transition of people, property and liabilities between organisations. This webinar, hosted by the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), is an important opportunity to hear from the team at NHS England and NHS Improvement about the work ahead and the support available.

The team covered the recently issued due diligence guidance and use of the due diligence checklist. There was a particular focus on the joint work required between finance teams and HR teams for the transfer of people between organisations, with separate webinars on the HR Framework to be held for HR colleagues in due course.

Delegates were able to put questions to the team and identify where any additional guidance/ support may be required.
