This module has been developed for non-finance professionals seeking a better understanding of how NHS services are paid for. It provides an overview of how the money flows around the NHS, how it is administered and used to pay for services delivered by healthcare providers.

Budget holders, business managers, clinicians, general practice staff and non executive directors.

If you are studying towards the Introductory Award in Healthcare Finance this module can be counted alongside the compulsory module Introduction to NHS Finance as one of your five modules.

If you are studying towards the Introductory Award in Healthcare Finance this module can be counted alongside the compulsory module 'NHS finance (England) - an overview of NHS finance, the challenges and future of the NHS' as one of your five modules.

What happens after I have completed my purchase?
