Briefing / Institute Costing Together event summary report
The Healthcare Costing for Value Institute organised two regional Costing Together events in October and November 2018.
The events provided delegates with the opportunity to focus on the practical ‘how to’ of costing in the NHS and included sector specific, peer-to-peer discussions about costing challenges. It provided costing practitioners with a platform to learn from and work with peers to find practical solutions to common problems.
Unlike traditional conferences, the agenda was delegate driven and attendees were encouraged to propose questions, contribute to the discussions and feed into the development of the day, drawing on their own challenges and experiences.
The report summarises the key messages from the two events and shares some of the suggested actions from delegates to address the challenges.
