Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust is an ambitious organisation which provides healthcare services to the population of North Essex and beyond. The Trust has an income budget in excess of £240 million.
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our Income and Costing team.
This post will be heavily involved in the continued development and use of Patient Level Costing in the Trust and it’s interaction with Service Line Reporting. The Trust has installed it’s patient level costing software, and through this role, the Trust is now seeking to build on the strong progress that has already been made. This is a high profile project, and one that will involve interaction with senior managers and clinical staff.
This exciting and varied role will also support the Trust’s processes for reporting income, and the management of its contracts with Commissioners.
You will need to be part CCAB qualified, and to have experience of working within an acute Trust finance environment. Able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, you will also be able to create effective working relationships between the finance function and operational / clinical staff.
