FAQ's for non-subscription e-learning*

How can I order e-learning?

E-learning can be purchased via our website or you can contact the e-learning team on 0117 938 8994 or elearning@hfma.org.uk for an order form. For large orders please contact the office on 0117 929 4789.

Are bulk discounts available?

Yes, typically starting from 100 licences and above. However feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements and we will tailor a package to suit your needs. 

How long do I have to set my learners up?

You have 12 months from date of purchase to set your users up on the system. They then have 12 months to complete the training. 

How long does it take to be set up with e-learning?

We aim to set people up e-learning within 5 working days of receiving your order or list of learners to be set up (during business hours).

How long does each module take to complete?

Each module will take roughly 1.5 hours to complete and comes with an assessment which takes a further 30-40 minutes to complete. For CPD purposes each completed module is worth 1.6 hours – or 8 hours if you complete the Introductory Certificate. 

Is it possible to stop a module and resume at a later date?

Yes, whenever you log out of one of our modules, your position is bookmarked so irrespective of which PC you log back into the system with, you will be taken back to the page you last visited. 

What happens if I fail the assessment?

Learners can retake the assessment and re-sit the learning as many times as they like within their 12 month licence period. 

What technical support is available to learners and their administrators?

The HFMA e-learning team are available to answer IT related queries during office hours on 0117 938 8994

Do learners receive certification for successful completion of the modules?

Yes, once learners have successfully completed each module they will have the option to view or download a personalised certificate. Those successfully completing the Introductory Certificate in Healthcare Finance will be sent a certificate in the post. Both certificates show the amount of CPD hours accrued.

Can I have a demonstration of the modules before deciding to purchase a number of licences?

Yes, to arrange this please contact the e-learning team on 0117 938 8994. 

Can I purchase modules to run on our own learning management system (LMS)?

Yes. An assessment will be made on the potential usage within your organisation and a licence cost agreed based on your organisational turnover. All content produced by HFMA is SCORM compliant. 

Can HFMA help implement a training plan for bulk users across my organisation?
