Regional bulk discounts available on HFMA's E-Learning
Due to the current increasing demand for non finance staff across the NHS to improve their knowledge and competency in NHS finance, the opportunity is currently available for organizations to coordinate their buying across each SHA region.
Bulk discounts are available until 15 April to any Trusts co-ordinating their purchase of HFMA e-learning with other organisations within their SHA region.
The cost per individual to complete the ‘Introductory Certificate in Healthcare Finance in England’ is normally £165+vat, which comprises of five self selected modules from those listed below.
However, HFMA are pleased to offer the following bulk discounts according to the overall number of licenses collectively ordered across each SHA region between 1st February and 15th April 2010:
1 to 100 certificates £165.00 plus VAT
101 to 200 certificates £148.50 plus VAT 10% discount
201 to 300 certificates £140.25 plus VAT 15% discount
301 certificates and above £132.00 plus VAT 20% discount
For example if the total number of Certificates ordered by Trusts within the SHA region is over 201, then every Trust that purchased within that region benefits from a 15% discount.
For purchases required before the 31st March the discount level applied will be according to the collective number of licenses made between the 1st February and 30th March. For trusts involved in the HFMA partner programme a further 10% discount will also be available meaning that substantial discounts can be gained.
Each person enrolled in the certificate will also receive a copy of HFMAs Introductory Guide to NHS Finance in the UK which retails at £30.
Each module is linked to the KSF and provides relevant underpinning knowledge for the Financial Management dimensions (G4) at levels 1 – 4. The certificate also equates to 8 hours CPD.
The target audience includes non-finance professionals within the NHS, particularly General Managers, Nurse Managers, Practice Managers, Practice Staff and NEDs and new finance staff to the NHS.
All users can be assigned to the e-learning over a 12 month term from the purchase date and then each user from set up has a further 12 months to complete their modules.
Tools are also available to assist with successful implementation and roll out of e-learning within your organisation. These include a Best Practice Guide, access to a live webinar and an administrative area of the LMS which assists organisations to manage licences and track/report on learners as they work their way through the programme.
