The Charitable Funds Special Interest Group represents the financial management interests of those in the charitable funds healthcare community.
The group supports the charitable funds community by providing practical guidance, networking and training opportunities. Outputs of the group include the HFMA publication NHS Charitable Funds: a Practical Guide and the annual Charitable Funds Conference.
The group works closely with other organisations with an interest in NHS charitable funds, with representatives from the Charity Commission, Audit Commission, Wales Audit Office and Association of NHS Charities within the committee’s membership. Meetings are held three times a year in London.
