  • Who should attend: The event should be attended by all NHS staff involved in QIPP (Quality Innovation Productivity and Prevention) by developing and improving services provided to patients and clients whilst at the same time having to meet the public sector spending challenges. The event will be particularly relevant to finance, commissioning, performance and planning directors and their staff working across all sectors in the NHS.

Why should you attend: A top class line up of speakers will convey the challenges ahead (significant reductions in the levels of growth with a new drive to improve quality and accessibility of services across the NHS). The conference will explore in detail the opportunities to improve quality whilst maximising efficiency. In addition, personal drive, ambition and determination of all NHS staff will deliver this agenda and the conference will also provide a number of top class sessions on managing yourself in these challenging times and improving your performance

        • Keynote Speaker, Austin Healey

As flexible on the rugby field as off it, Austin represented England as well as the British & Irish Lions. He might now be better known for his fast footwork on Strictly Come Dancing, and for diving through the BBC’s Hole In The Wall. Austin’s long career playing utility back with the Leicester Tigers was punctuated by injury, but it didn’t stop him winning two European Cups for his club and 51 caps for his country.
Since his retirement Austin has worked as a banker, provided punditry for the BBC and Sky, and come very close to the Strictly crown with partner Erin Boag. Austin’s approach to challenges is as relevant to rugby as it is to business: know more, prepare more, push harder. In presentations he talks about creating a winning culture and living the brand, and establishing a framework which designates roles to those who need them whilst liberating those who don’t. Austin argues
that success is not just about winning - it’s knowing how you won so you can develop the winning habit.
