HFMA has four main membership categories as well as reduced rates for specific groups. Membership categories and rates are outlined below.
Ordinary (Full) Member
Ordinary membership is open to finance staff working in health services in the UK who are on Agenda for Change Band 5 and above or equivalent salary.
Ordinary (Full) Member - Abated rate
Ordinary membership is open to finance staff working in health services in the UK who are on Agenda for Change Band 4 and below or equivalent salary.
Retired Member
Any ordinary member of the Association on retirement from substantive employment, may apply for registration as a retired member, with the same rights, privileges and duties as an ordinary member.
Associate Member
Associate membership is open to such other individuals working in a supplier, allied or related field to healthcare who possess an interest in healthcare finance issues. All overseas applications received will be allocated Associate Membership.
Membership Rates
HFMA operates an annual renewal programme, with all members renewing on 1 July.

Supplement
NB. A £5 discount is given to all members paying by direct debit.
Payment is required with all new applications and renewals are due on 1 July annually.
If joining online members need to use our secure online payment facility. HFMA accepts payment by all debit and credit cards - apart from Diners Club.
For those with applying by post please send a completed direct debit form or a cheque made payable to HFMA, with your application. Your bank requires that you complete and send the original direct debit instruction by post. For this reason, HFMA cannot accept faxed copies.
