Permanent Contract: 37.5 hours per week

United Bristol Healthcare NHS Trust is a dynamic and thriving group of hospitals in the heart of Bristol, a vibrant and culturally diverse city. We’re one of the country’s largest acute NHS Trusts with a 2006/07 income of £372.5 million per year and 7,300 staff. We provide acute and emergency services to 300,000 people locally, specialist acute services to 2.4 million in the surrounding counties and specialist regional and supra-regional services to over 5 million people across the South West, South Wales and beyond. We are embarked on a major capital redevelopment programme to upgrade the estate and have good ratings for performance, clinical quality and financial health. We’re also a major teaching and research hospital with strong links to the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.

The Trust is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic CCAB finalist/member to fill this newly created post within its Costing function.

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with experience in a range of accounting areas. Proven analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to organise and prioritise work effectively are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure.

The Trust is committed to staff development and this role provides excellent prospects for career progression.

For informal enquiries, please contact Kirsty Cepek on 0117 928 3667.

In accordance with the Trust's Organisation Change policy, staff in a redeployment situation will be given prior consideration for any suitable vacancies advertised for this Trust.

For non-medical posts: Due to the very large responses we receive for jobs we are unable to respond to all candidates individually at application stage. Therefore, if you have not heard from us within 4 weeks of the closing date, regretfully you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

This job is unlikely to attract a work permit. Applications from candidates who require a permit to work in the UK may not be considered if there are a sufficient number of other suitable candidates.
