From 2008/2009 the Auditors Local Evaluation (ALE) will no longer be applicable to PCTs and will be replaced by the Use of Resources (UoR) assessment, which is designed to assess how well organisations are managing and using their resources to deliver value for money, together with better and sustainable outcomes for local people.
ALE will continue to apply to Trusts. The presentation provides an overview on this along with suggestions on how organisations can plan to improve their performance scores.
