HFMA Wales has a growing reputation of being very active and delivering high quality training, events and conferences.

With its membership at circa 200 Wales is continuing to attract new members and support those working across Wales in NHS Finance.

For 2007/ 2008 the Welsh Branch theme is, 'Delivering Higher Standards'.  The Branch has an ambitious programme of events for the forthcoming year, based on topics which are relevant to the current changes in NHS Finance. Events are catered for all levels of finance staff. 

The Branch provides its members with a bi-monthly newsletter. This comes out the 2nd – 3rd Friday every other month. It provides information on what has been going on at a local level, nationally, forthcoming events and contact details.

The Branch meets every other month for an open members meeting. This is a chance for members to come along, meet the branch and discuss any issues which they are facing that maybe HFMA can help? They can also suggest what events they would like to see, key themes or just listen to what the Branch is currently working on. The meetings will be held across South & Mid Wales.

For 2007 / 2008 the bi monthly members meeting will also include the Financial Management Research Network meeting, which will be chaired by Steve Elliot of the Branch.
