Welcome to the South West Branch

Welcome to the South West Branch. It is an exciting time for the branch with a newly configured health service across the south west and a number of new members joining the executive committee. In addition the branch is embarking on an exciting development stage working in a new partnership with the south west finance skills development initiative to deliver high quality financial skills development to all NHS staff across the south west as well as maintaining a range of high quality branch conferences through the year. The local committee contains representation from across the whole area and is extremely enthusiastic, motivated and committed to truly making HFMA membership in the south west something to be proud of.

As well as the finance skills development programme the branch also ensure that the south west is represented on all HFMA committees nationally and are also developing a range of other initiatives to support the south west members including access to bursaries, sponsorship, subsidised places at the weekend school and other future events.

The branch is also currently working at encouraging membership of HFMA in the south west and is determined to increase members substantially and also to ensure that all NHS Directors of Finance in the branches area are members and promoters of HFMA within their organisations.

The branch committee is always looking for new members and people to contribute to towards branch activities so if you would like to get in touch please do not hesitate to contact myself, or any member of the executive committee.
