Welcome to the South Central Branch
Welcome to the South Central Branch. The South Central branch has been formed from the merger of Thames Valley and Wessex branches. The branch covers Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire. The branch has developed with the help of close working with the local FSD. Building on learning sets, relationships with private sector organisations have begun to be developed to offer members opportunities in pairing up with colleagues for skills exchanges.
In the last year members have enjoyed positive participation in a local football competition. Teams were entered by local NHS Trusts to win the HFMA Cup, which in 2006-7 was achieved by the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and in 2007-8 by South Central Strategic Health Authority.
The conference in October provides a venue to meet peers as well as hear from local and national speakers.
