Welcome to the Eastern Branch
Summer may be the holiday season, but HFMA East of England has never been busier. The last couple of years has been quite difficult for the branch. It appears that the focus of NHS organisations has been away from the training and development agenda, as we have all struggled with restructuring across the SHA, PCT and Ambulance sectors, the difficult financial position, and applications for FT status.
There is a distinct feeling that the corner has been turned. At HFMA we have put together perhaps the most comprehensive training agenda of the last five years. We have a total of eight events planned for this year. The branch is working closely with FSD to ensure that the programmes of work are complementary; read on and you will see the results; special offer, available thanks to the support of FSD.
There is always room for more. If you have any suggestions about what training/development you would like to see taking place, do please let us know. Better still, if you want to be a part of the executive committee that helps stage these events, please put yourselves forward.
For notice of future events please keep an eye on the web-site – or if you would like to be involved in the planning and organising of events the Branch Executive committee would love to hear from you!
