East Midlands Branch
Our Branch is coterminous with the East Midlands SHA covering the counties of Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Rutland, and the unitary authorities of Derby City, Leicester City and Nottingham City. We have approximately 132 members, with representation from all health organisations in the area.
If you live or work in our area then you are very welcome to participate in our activities. We are reliant on the commitment and enthusiasm of our members to ensure the continued growth and success of the branch.
The Branch Executive regards 2008/09 as a key year in developing and strengthening the role of the HFMA locally, and in our links to the Association at a national level.
Our objectives for 2007/08 are set out in our Branch Business Plan which can be viewed here. The 2008/09 business plan will be completed by the end of June 2008.
Our programme of local events continues to expand and has been well supported.
I believe that we all have something to contribute to the branch, and I do hope that you will become involved in some way. If you are already an active member, your support and participation is much appreciated.
