Invitation to Tender

The purpose of this Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) is to invite potential partners to submit proposals to work alongside HFMA in the delivery of information and advisory services in order to support the relationships between commissioners, primary and secondary care providers in the NHS.  Eligible organisations, the structure of service provision and commercial model will be agreed through negotiation and subject to terms agreed with the HFMA senior executive team and Board of Trustees. 

The Healthcare Financial Management Association has a distinguished history within the life of the National Health Service. Formed in 1950, it has grown and developed to become a leading authority on healthcare finance issues.  Our Vision lies in ‘Shaping Healthcare Finance’.

HFMA seeks to represent, support and provide high quality, independent and objective advice to its members and the wider healthcare community. It aims to promote best practice and innovation in financial management and leadership across the UK health economy through its local and national networks. The Association aims to respond to national policy and exert influence in shaping the wider healthcare agenda.

HFMA is now seeking to broaden its capacity to deliver information and advisory services to the NHS by gathering the necessary capacity to address the needs identified in the document linked to below

One of HFMA’s trading subsidiaries, HFMA Commercial Services Ltd (referred herein as ‘HFMA’) is seeking to enter into negotiations with one or a number of business intelligence and advisory service providers.  The purpose will be to support the development and sale of services to support the relationships between and help support the management of financial risk of organisations involved in the commissioning and provision of healthcare services in England.

Respondents should have the necessary experience, financial and technical capacity to support the development of services outlined in this document and to the timescales detailed.
