Shahana Khan

Shahana qualified as an accountant at the age of 23 as part of the Ministry of Defence's Fast Track scheme. After leaving the Ministry of Defence she became Chief Financial Officer of an international software company. Shahana joined the NHS in 1991 and worked for several acute Trusts in various senior positions before being appointed Deputy Finance Director at Heart of England NHS Trust and Director of Finance at Walsall in 2007.

Shahana is also a member of the Board for Accord Housing Association, Trustee of Healthcare Finance Managers Association and a Director of WELCOME Community Interest Company.
