Andy Hardy

I am  Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Finance Officer at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.  I am a CIPFA qualified accountant and hold an MBA from the University of Birmingham.  I chair the Association’s National Payment by Results Specialist Interest Group.   Since June 2008, I have chaired the Finance Directors’ Group of the Association of United Kingdom University Hospitals.

Why I wanted to be an HFMA Trustee?

From the commencement of my career in NHS finance some 19 years ago, the HFMA always represented a focus for training and professional networking opportunities.  19 years later, I feel my experience to date puts me in a position to help further the work of HFMA and that is why I applied to be considered for a Trustee post.
